| Introduction to the IIRF |

| The IIRF is a co-operative body established in 1990 to link the world’s
national investor relations societies. Its main aim is to promote the practice
of international investor relations and to provide support to its member
societies, in particular to:

Promote the recognition of investor relations and encourage the formation of
national investor relations societies in all countries with active securities
industries;

Promote the highest standards of professional practice worldwide and provide a
forum for the exchange of investor relations best practice, experience and
ideas;

Collect and circulate information important to the practice of international
investor relations and liaise with governmental, regulatory and professional
bodies on international issues.

Encourage co-operation and sharing of resources between member societies and
provide additional services which meet their common needs

Legally the IIRF is a non-profit UK company limited by guarantee, but its
day-to-day management is by an international executive committee which, in
turn, is elected by a governing council comprising one representative from each

It also has a specialised subsidiary, IR Global League which was established in 2004
to create and manage a range of database and website-based services on its behalf (see menu above).
